Rogue River Steelhead 3-10-10

On March 10th I fished these two girls and we had a great time, we hooked these fish side-drifted eggs and yarn balls. I put in on the Upper Rogue and floated to Tou Ville Park. We hooked three fish and landed two.

The Rogue River is one of my home rivers. The Upper Rogue Region is in the Northern part of Jackson County, Oregon where the world famous Rogue River begins its journey from Crater Lake through the valley on its way to the Pacific Ocean. Home to the Rogue River, Crater Lake National Park, Oregon State Parks, Rogue River National Forest and Lost Creek Lake, Southern Oregon is a great place to visit, and fish. The Rogue River gets good runs of both Steelhead and King Salmon all year long. I guide the Rogue River from October-April.
