July 1st 2008

July 1st is opening day for keeping Lingcod, prior to today all the lingcod had to be released, and that brings a lot of tears to a fisherman’s eyes. However, on July first it is nothing but Lingcod and full smiles. Today was a spectacular day with limits of Lingcod, Halibut and Rock Fish. The weather and the fish made this one of the best 1st days of July ever in Seward, Alaska
